Often used to describe foods with superior health benefits, superfoods are not always as amazing as they seem. While some superfoods contain exceptional nutrition dense content, others do not. For example, spirulina (a cyanobacterium) will only be beneficial if you drink a significant amount of water (otherwise your body will not process it and you are likely to feel dehydrated). So, when you eat superfoods it’s always beneficial to take note of how you feel after eating them. Listen to your body. We are all a little different!
