Want to get moving but don’t have time to leave the house? Try these simple at-home exercises!
- Stair climbs – if you have stairs at home make use of them. Climb up and down to warm up your legs. Repeat 3 times.
- Climb on and off the first step 5 times, then the first and second step 5 times and repeat until all stairs have been climbed in this routine.
- Skip / dance – pop on your favourite music and let loose. Grab a skipping rope and jump for 1 minute, followed by 1 minute of star jumps, 1 minute of mountain climbers, 1 minute of high knees and 1 minute of fast feet/jog on the spot and repeat (Nutbush City Limits is a great 5 minute work out to accompany this exercise!).
Strength training is a great way to increase tone and metabolism, so any extra strength training at home is a bonus!
Do these exercises 3 times with 15-20 repetitions!
