Liver detox beetroot juice recipe

Beetroot – 1 small bulb
Carrot – 3 medium
Celery – 2 stalks
Spinach – 4-6 leaves
Add some ginger to aid digestion

This juice is packed with high-fibre root vegetables. Beetroot is a detox super food, high in magnesium, A and B Vitamins as well as iron (the colour pigment betaine is a powerful anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory). Beetroot is used traditionally to assist with anaemia, constipation, tiredness, detoxification, and is purported to have anti-cancer properties.

NB: Consuming this juice may cause your stools to have a slightly red colour, so don’t be alarmed. It is also quite a potent juice so don’t over use it because it’s cleansing/detoxifying ability could cause slight nausea and mild GIT irritation.
