Spoil yourself with a DIY pamper night
Do you feel like pampering yourself after a long week? You don’t need to go to a spa. You can do a pamper night in your own home for a fraction of the cost.
We’ve come up with a list of things that we think are essential to have in your DIY pamper night:
1. Relaxing music
Pick a selection of your favourite songs or artists that give you chilled vibes or find a relaxing playlist on your streaming service of choice.
2. Candles
Whether they’re scented candles or tea lights, lighting candles can help to create a calming environment. Place them carefully in the room and remember to blow them out once you’re done.
3. Bath soak
Bath soaks can help you feel more relaxed by relieving muscle tension and soothing the skin. Mix together 1 cup of Epsom salts, ½ cup of baking soda and 10 drops of your favourite essential oil. You only need ¼ cup to add to your bath (the rest can be stored in an airtight container for up to 6 months). Stay in the bath for 20-30 minutes to get the best effects of your bath soak.
4. Comfy clothes
After your bath, you’ll be wanting to get into something comfortable that you can lounge around in. We’re thinking warm fluffy socks, bathrobes and pyjamas.
5. DIY face masks
These 7 DIY masks will moisturise your skin and are easy to make, only using 3-4 ingredients: https://hopewoodlifestyle.com.au/2020/04/7-diy-masks-your-skin-will-thank-you-for/.
6. Healthy snack
Make something yummy to enjoy during your bath or once you get out. For something refreshing, try one of our juice recipes. For something more substantial, try our coconut tahini balls: https://hopewoodlifestyle.com.au/2020/02/a-taste-of-summer-coconut-and-tahini-balls/
Take some time out this weekend for a DIY pamper experience.
