Bliss balls

Happy world chocolate day. If you are craving something sweet but a little healthier, we have you covered with our bliss balls.

They are packed full of goodies like dates, almonds and figs, and the cacao will satisfy the chocolate craving without the guilt.

Or if you are after a version without cacao, you can follow along and create our fruit and nut truffles here

  • ½ cup dried apricots
  • ½ cup dates
  • ½ cup dried figs
  • ½ cup raisins
  • ½ cup ground almonds
  • ½ cup sunflower seeds
  • ½ cup ground walnuts
  • ½ cup ground cashews
  • 1 tablespoon cacao
  • Shredded coconut (optional)
    1. Roughly chop all dried fruits, place in a food processor and combine
    2. Add ground nuts and cacao and mix well
    3. Roll mixture into balls
    4. Balls can also be rolled in coconut (optional)
    5. Store in an airtight container in the fridge
