Cowra Japanese Garden, NSW
This garden is located in Cowra in the Central West region of NSW. It is a must see at any time of the year and includes a rocky hillside, manicured hedge, waterfalls and streams. There are also two galleries featuring an extensive collection of Japanese artworks and artefacts. Take time to explore the five hectares of garden and enjoy its beauty and tranquillity.
Brisbane Botanic Gardens, QLD
Located close to Brisbane city, these botanic gardens have something for everyone. It includes several waterfalls, a bamboo plantation, fragrance garden, Japanese garden and a rainforest. There is also a hide and seek trail to entertain younger visitors.
Victoria State Rose Garden, Werribee South VIC
From October to May you can see the colour and fragrance of over 5,000 roses in bloom at the Victoria State Rose Garden. Everywhere you look you will see unique roses and be amazed at how picturesque these gardens are in the spring!
Olive Pink Botanic Garden, Alice Springs NT
This garden is home to more than 600 Central Australian plants and grows bush foods and medicinal plants such as native lemongrass and bush passionfruit. There are also birdwatching and wildlife viewing opportunities, with over 80 local bird species.
Araluen Botanic Park, Roleystone WA
Araluen Botanic Park features a winding path that leads visitors through 14 hectares of exotic gardens and 59 hectares of native bushland. Plants featured include roses, tulips and hydrangeas along with water lilies and ornamental fruit trees.
