Four essential salad dressings
Summer is the perfect season for a delicious salad. A fresh dressing makes all the difference! Here are four of our delicious, easy, homemade salad dressing recipes. All these recipes take approximately five minutes to prepare and make between 80ml and 125ml.
Lemon dressing-
Ingredients:
- ½ cup lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- Pink Himalayan salt and pepper to taste
Method:
- Combine ingredients in a screw top jar
- Shake well to combine
Honey mustard vinaigrette-
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup cold-pressed extra virgin coconut or olive oil
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon raw honey
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Pink Himalayan salt and pepper to taste
Method:
- Combine ingredients in a screw top jar
- Shake well to combine
Green goddess dressing-
Ingredients:
- 1 cup loosely packed fresh mint leaves
- ½ cup loosely packed fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
- 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon grind
- 1 ½ tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons cold-pressed extra-virgin olive oil
- Pink Himalayan salt and pepper to taste
Method:
- Blend or process ingredients until all herbs are finely chopped
Tahini and orange dressing-
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 1 tablespoon cold-pressed extra-virgin coconut oil (or filtered water)
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 2 teaspoons raw honey
- Pink Himalayan salt and pepper to taste
Method:
- Combine ingredients in a screw top jar
- Shake well to combine
