Dark chocolate almond butter eggs

This year, why not make healthier Easter treats to enjoy with your family? These unsweetened Easter eggs are fun to make and really delicious!
- 1 cup almond butter (unsweetened)
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon coconut flour
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips (70% cocoa or higher)
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- In a bowl, mix almond butter, maple syrup, coconut flour, vanilla extract, and sea salt until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into small egg shapes and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for 15-20 minutes.
- In a double boiler, melt dark chocolate chips with coconut oil until smooth.
- Dip each almond butter egg into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Place back on the baking sheet.
- Refrigerate until the chocolate sets. Enjoy!
