Lime and lemongrass iced tea
Keep cool this summer with this refreshing lime and lemongrass iced tea.
• 20 grams lemongrass stalks, sliced
• 6 kaffir lime leaves
• Ice cubes to serve
• Lime juice or honey to serve
1. Put sliced lemongrass, lime leaves and one litre of water in a small saucepan.
2. Bring to boil and then reduce the heat.
3. Place a lid on the saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes.
4. Strain and let cool.
5. Transfer to a pitcher, cover and refrigerate.
6. Serve with some ice cubes – you may like to add a little lime juice or honey.
7. Can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
