Skin masks to make

Is your skin feeling dry from the cold weather? We recommend treating yourself to one of these homemade skin masks. They incorporate simple ingredients you will likely have at home and will leave your skin feeling hydrated and refreshed.


Calming face mask 

This mask is perfect for soothing and calming your skin. The coconut oil will provide deep hydration, whilst the honey and lavender oil give your skin a hit of antioxidants and soothe redness. 



  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • ¼ ripe avocado
  • 2 drops of lavender oil



Nourishing face mask 

If your skin needs much needed hydration than this is the mask for you. The honey will help your skin to retain moisture without feeling oily, oats have healing and moisturising properties and the avocado with leave your skin feeling silky smooth. 



  • ½ avocado
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • A handful of oats or oat bran


Note: Leaving it on for 15minutes is plenty


Toning face mask

This facemask is designed to improve uneven skin texture and tone. It will leave your skin feeling super-smooth and supple. Yoghurt is filled with lactic acid which makes a visible difference to skin. The honey will leave your skin feeling soft and elastic and turmeric if useful in combating pigmentation.  



  • 1 tablespoon of natural, plain yoghurt
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder
