Tips for healthy skin
Simple changes to your routine can make a big difference to your skin! Even if you don’t have time for intensive skincare, you can still ace the basics.
Daily cleansing can take a toll on your skin. Keep it gentle:
Limit bathing time:
Hot water and long showers or baths remove oils from your skin. Limit the time spent bathing and opt for warm rather than scorching hot water.
Avoid strong soaps:
Strong soaps and detergents can strip oil from your skin. Choose more mild products instead.
Hydrate yourself:
Skin is your body’s largest organ and drinking plenty of water will prevent it from getting dry and flaky.
Pat dry:
After washing, gently pat or blot your skin dry with a towel, this allows some moisture to stay on your skin.
Don’t use too many products:
Sometimes less is more. Avoid layering on multiple skincare products at once, it can be harsh on our skin, resulting in breakouts and clogged pores.
Sun protection:
It’s summer and more important than ever to put on the sun screen and wear a hat!
