Getting outdoors in autumn

Cooler days may not sound as appealing, but Autumn can provide some of the best weather to get outdoors and connect with nature, plus it’s good for you.

Benefits of cooler air:

Cool air has been proven to have many benefits for us. This includes helping us think better, so try and get outdoors and clear your mind on those busy days. Getting enough rest allows us to operate to our full potential and the cooler weather is ideal for sleeping. It can also help our joints as cooler weather can lower inflammation and act as a natural ice pack.

Autumn activities:

When it’s cooler it can be easier to persist with longer activities that may have felt unbearable during the hotter months. Autumn also means it’s time to cook warm dishes and drink warm beverages. Gather friends and family to enjoy time together, get outside amongst the autumn leaves, take a lovely long bush walk or bike ride. You will be able to take in all the scenery, breathe in the fresh air while looking forward to a warming beverage and a comforting hot meal at the end of the day.
