Ginger tea

Ginger has so many health benefits, one of these being its ability to help us fight colds and flu viruses. As the weather gets cooler, we can be more susceptible to illness, so it’s a great idea to boost immunity with simple recipes like this ginger tea. It’s also a fantastic drink to help warm you up. 

Our favourite ginger tea

  • 1 knob of ginger, thinly sliced with the skin on
  1. Put sliced ginger into a small saucepan with a litre of water.
  2. Bring to boil and then lower the heat
  3. Put a lid on the saucepan and simmer for 15minutes
  4. Can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.

NOTE: refreshing served hot or cold. You can also try adding a little honey and lemon.
