Dressings to make your salad pop

Do you want to make your salad more exciting this year? Try adding one of our fantastic dressings:

Tahini dressing

• 1 cup natural yoghurt
• 1-2 garlic cloves, pressed
• Swirl of tahini
• Juice of 1 lemon
• Slurp of tamari
• Dusting of black pepper, freshly ground

Blend all ingredients together.

Minted cottage cheese dressing

• 1-2 cups lemon juice (to taste)
• 1 cup light cottage cheese
• 4 heads of mint
• 3 slices spring onion

Place lemon juice in the blender. Gradually add other ingredients and blend until smooth.

Sesame dressing

• 1 teaspoon sesame oil
• 1 tablespoon honey
• 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

Combine all ingredients and shake in a screw top jar.

Citrus dressing

• 4 tablespoons cashew nut pieces
• 2-3 cups freshly squeezed orange juice

Combine ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy.

Avocado dressing

• 1 avocado
• 1 cup apple juice
• 1 large celery stalk

Place all ingredients into a blender and blend to pouring consistency – about one minute. Add more apple juice if required. Serve as soon as possible.
